Sunnahs of Witr Prayer

1-Recomemnded Recitation:

 It is Sunna, for the one who wishes to end the prayer at night with

three Witr Raka’hs, to read after Al-Fateha :

In First Rak’ah	In Second Rak’ah	In Third Rak’ah
Complete Surah Al-A’laah (87: 1-19)	Complete Surah Al-Kafirun (109: 1-6)	Complete Surah Al-Ikhlaas 112: 1-4)

2- Say after atsleem:

It is Sunna to say, after finishing the Witr prayer:

سُبْحَانَ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوْسِ

Subhaanal Malikil-Quddoosi

“Glory is to The King, the Holy”.

 three times.

At the third time, rise and prolong the voice and say:

رب الملائكة والروح

Rabbil-malaa’ikati warroohi

“ Lord of the angels and the Spirit”.
