15 Reasons to love Prophet Muhammad(SAWW)

Why do we have to love the Prophet (SAWW) more than any other person in this world?
 Love of Prophet(SAWW) is an essential part of our faith. Allah Subhan wa taala wants us to obey the His Last Prophet(SAWW) sincerely, not just as a duty.
    And To obey the Prophet(SAWW) sincerely, we must love him, and to love him we need reasons.
   Naturally, there is always a reason behind any love;
so, then let’s find out the reasons why should we love our Prophet(SAWW)?
1: It is Allah’s order:
First of all, Allah has commanded us to follow the Prophet, Muhammad(SAWW). This is an obligation that Allah has put upon us, Allah says in Quran;
· That you (mankind) may believe in Allah and His (Prophetic) Messenger, and may assist him, and honour him, and may glorify Him morning and evening. (Al-Fatah 48:9)
· You should believe in Allah and His (Prophetic) Messenger and struggle hard in Allah's way with your wealth (possessions) and lives(selves); this is best for you, if you but knew! (Al-Saff 61:11)
· Say: Obey Allah and obey the (Prophetic) Messenger. But if you turn away, he is only responsible for the duty placed on him and you for that place on you, and if you obey him, you will be rightly guided. And the responsibility of the (Prophetic) Messenger is only to convey (the message) clearly. (Al-Noor 24:54)
 Allah orders us to Respect prophet Muhammad (SAWW) in Quran.
· Hold fast to whatever (command) the (Prophetic) Messenger gives you, and refrain from whatever he forbids you, abstain (from it), and fear Allah; surely Allaah punishes very severely. (Al-Hashar 59:7)
2: He was chosen by Allah:
   He was chosen and moulded by Allah Himself and Allah chose him above all of creation to convey His message to mankind. Allah Almighty says in Quran:
· Nor does he speak of (his own) desire. Whatever he says is revelation revealed to him. (Al-Najm 53:3-4)
Allah chose him because He loved him. So, we must love the One, whom Allah loves. Allah chose him not only as a prophet, but he chose him(SAWW) as His close friend (Khaleel) as well. A close friendship is the highest degree of love.
It was narrated that Jundub said: I heard the Prophet (SAWW) say: “I declare before Allaah that I have no close friend (Khaleel) from among you. Allaah has taken me as a close friend as he took Ibraaheem as a close friend. If I were to have taken a close friend from among my ummah, I would have taken Abu Bakr as a close friend.”
(Narrated by Muslim, 532).
3: He is the Leader of mankind:
  Allah indicates very clearly and distinctly that the last Prophet Muhammad (SAWW), was sent as a blessing to all mankind and he was destined to be recognized as the leader of the entire humanity for all times to come. All Prophets and messengers came to a particular city or a place or a nation for a specific period but among them, the final Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) was the only one who was sent to all of the humanity, even jinn till the day of Qiyamah.
· Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the (Prophetic) Messenger of Allah and the Last of the Prophets; and Allah has full knowledge of all things. (Al-Ahzaab 33:40)
He is the best of mankind walked ever on the Earth and we should realize the high status to which Allah has raised him. He served humanity at the highest and most perfect level. Mankind was plunged into the depth of darkness, He(SAWW) took them out of the ignorance and enlightened this world with the torch of truth and opened the gates of knowledge, progress, peace, prosperity and harmony to mankind.
  He was a real saviour who gave us a law of supreme accomplishment which guarantees ultimate success and happiness to the whole world through the religion of Islam, based on the virtues of tolerance, peace, equality and justice.
4: The completion of Iman:
Our faith is not complete unless we love the Prophet (SAWW) with the depth of our hearts and until the Prophet (SAWW) becomes dearer to us than our fathers, our sons, our family and all of the people, even from our own selves. Allah says in the Quran:
· Say: If your fathers, and your sons, and your brothers, and your wives, and your kinsfolk, and the wealth you have acquired, and merchandise for which you fear that there will be no sale, and dwellings you desire are dearer to you than Allah and His (Prophetic) Messenger and striving in His way: then wait till Allah brings His command to pass, and Allah does not guide the wrongdoing folk. (9:24)
In the Quran and in hadith books, there are so many verses and hadiths, which precisely state that holding fast to the Sunnah is the fundamental basis of the religion.
It was narrated that Anas said: The Prophet (SAWW) said:
  • “No one of you truly believes until I am dearer to him than his father, his son, his own self and all the people.”  (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 15; Muslim, 44)
  • It was narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Hishaam said: We were with the Prophet (SAWW) when he was holding the hand of ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab. ‘Umar said to him: “O Messenger of Allaah, you are dearer to me than everything except my own self.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “No, by the One in Whose hand is my soul, not until I am dearer to you than your own self.” ‘Umar said to him: “Now, by Allah, you are dearer to me than my own self.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Now (you are a true believer), O ‘Umar.” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 6257).
  • It was narrated that Anas said: The Prophet (SAWW) said: “None of you truly believes until I am more beloved to him than his father, his child and all the people.” (Al-Bukhari, 15; Muslim, 44)
5: Prophet Muhammad(SAWW)’s obedience is our duty:
Allah has made obedience to His Prophet a fundamental religious duty, resisting or opposing it is a sign of hypocrisy. We should take the example from his(SAWW) companions who used to say,
  "SAMINA WA AATANA", "سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا" (We hear and Obey) for Prophet(SAWW)'s every order.
 Allah has commanded us to obey the Prophet (SAWW) sincerely as He mentioned in the Quran;
· whatever the (Prophetic) Messenger gives you, take it and whatever he forbids you, abstain (from it), and fear Allah; surely Allah is severe in retributing (evil). (Al-Hashar 59:7)
· And obey Allah and the (Prophetic) Messenger that you may obtain mercy. (Aal-Imran 3:132)
Allah has told us that obedience to the Prophet (SAWW) is obedience to Allah.
· “He who obeys the Messenger (Muhammad), has indeed obeyed Allah, but he who turns away, then we have not sent you (O Muhammad) as a watcher over them”
[al-Nisa’ 4:80]
Even Allah did not like raising the voice in front of His beloved Prophet(SAWW).
· you who believe! Never proceed ahead of Allah and His Rasool(SAWW). Fear Allah, Surely, Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
O you who believe! Raise not your voices above the voice of the Prophet, nor speak aloud when speaking to him as you shout one to another, lest your deeds become vain while you perceive not.
· Surely, those who lower their voices in the presence of the (Prophetic) Messenger of Allah, those are they whose hearts Allah has purified for Taqwa (prepared for piety). For them is forgiveness and an immense reward. (Al-Hujuraat 49:1-3)

Each verse in the Quran that deals with obeying the Prophet (SAWW) states that doing so is obligatory for all believers. In fact, all actions and practices of Prophet (SAWW) are at the highest standards and are under the protection of Allah (SWT), So there is no doubt that Sunnah is based upon revelation. Allah says clearly in Quran;
· He does not speak of his own desire. Whatever he says is revealed to him. (al-Najm 53, 3-4)
6: Shortcut of Allah’s love:
To gain the love of Allah, one should follow His Prophet (SAWW). There is a very beautiful Ayah in the Quran.
· Say (O beloved Prophet, to mankind): If you love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins, and Allah is All-Forgiving, All-Merciful. (Aal-Imran 3:31)
         How much satisfying this promise is?
Stronger the affection will be with Prophet(SAWW), closer we will be with Allah.
         Then what are we waiting for...?
  In the Quran, Allah addresses him with so much love and affection. Not even once Allah called upon His Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) by his direct name as he otherwise when calling upon all other prophets.
 For instance, Allah states:
“O Zechariah, O Adam, O Musa, O Yahya, O Noah, O Isa…
Yet when Allah calls upon His beloved messenger, Prophet Muhammad(SAWW), He does not use his direct name, but rather He calls him with love:
· “Oh Prophet,
· Ta Ha. (Taa Haa 20:1)
· Ya Seen. (Ya Seen 36:1)
· O, you wrapped up in your raiment. (Al-Muzzammamil 73:1)
· O, you enveloped in your cloak. (Al-Muddathir 74:1)
It is so beautiful, isn't it? one can see, from above examples that how much Allah Almighty loves His prophet Muhammad(SAWW).
7: He is a role model:
Prophet Muhammad(SAWW) is the best human being in this world. There are over 50 verses in the Qur’an that tells us to take the Prophet as an example. At one place Allah says:
· Surely there is an excellent example in Allah’s Rasool(SAWW) for the one who fears Allah and the last day, and who remembers Allah abundantly (So follow him in all affairs).
(Al-Ahzaab 33:21)
 In human history, many famous personalities have been taken as role models by the people of their time and future generations. However, our Prophet (SAWW) is unique in the way, he is a flawless, timeless and universal role model. Even today, Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) is considered to be the finest leader with the highest moral and ethical values. He is the perfect example for everyone and an ideal person in all aspects especially for those who believe in God and the Day of Judgment.
   Though he was not learned, never had formal education but he had knowledge about everything, which was given to him by Almighty Allah. He was the most honest, truthful, trustworthy, pious, humble, caring, loving and kind person. He never spoke a lie in his entire life. He was icon of justice. There is no comparison of his selflessness and sincerity, his honesty and patience, his generosity and kindness. His followers loved him more than their life and vice-versa. In short, he was the most influential and an extremely successful person in all fields of life. Every sort of person can find an example in Prophet Muhammad's life. He is the most loveable and respectable person in this world, why wouldn’t we want to love him?
 Muhammad (SAWW) spent his entire life to show us the right path, he loved, he cried, he worried, he sacrificed, he fought and he prayed for us, yes for "US".
He was on the highest rank of superior morality, good manners, noble thoughts and gentle feelings. In the glorious Quran Allah says:
· And most surely, you (Prophet SAWW) have an exalted moral (flawless) character. (Al-Qalam 68:4)
 Loving and following our beloved Prophet (SAWW) is our ticket to ultimate success. What else we want...?
8: We are following Allah’s act:
Sending blessings upon the Prophet (SAWW) is one of the greatest acts of worship encouraged in Islam. And by doing so we are following Allah’s act and order.

    In the Quran, Allah The Almighty mentions that God and His angels continue to send blessings upon Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) and He also commanded mankind to send blessings upon him.
Indeed, Allah and His angels shower blessings on the Prophet. O you who believe! send salaah (blessings) and salaam to him. (Al-Ahzaab 33:56)
Benefit of sending Blessings upon(SAWWW):
Every time you send blessings upon prophet(SAWW), an angel is appointed who conveys our messages to Prophet Muhammad (SAWW).

  • “Allah has angels who go around on earth, conveying to me the salaam of my Ummah.”                                                           [ Sunan An Nas’ai]
 There are countless benefits of sending blessings upon the Prophet(SAWW).
A few are mentioned here like:
· The reward is multiplied by ten times.
· Sending blessings upon the Prophet(SAWW) raises your rank ten levels.
· It removes ten bad deeds and adds ten good deeds to your
record.
· It draws you closer to the Prophet (SAWW) and to Allah The Almighty.
· You can earn the right for Prophet (SAWW)’s intercession on the Day of Judgment.
· Sending salutations on the Prophet (SAWW) allows him to return the same salutation to you.
· This action is a way to earn Allah’s mercy.
When we ask God to bless our Prophet(SAWW), we show our love to our Prophet(SAWW) and please Allah at the same time.
Sending blessings (Darood Wa Salah) upon the Prophet(SAWW) is one of the most beneficial supplications for a person.
Remember it is not that Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) who needs our blessings as he is free of sin, he is already on the highest pedestal and always obeyed God’s Order but the essence behind this beautiful prayer is to build a loving and an unbreakable bond between us and him(SAWW).
9: He is the mercy upon the whole universe:
Another reason we should love and respect Prophet(SAWW) is because he is the Prophet of mercy. Yes, our beloved Prophet (SAWW) was sent by God as a mercy to all mankind; believers, non-believers, and hypocrites. The Quran repeatedly mentions he was sent as a ‘mercy to all of creation not only mankind.
· And We have sent you not except as a mercy for all the worlds. (Al-Ambiyaa 21:107)
· Undoubtedly, a Rasool has come to you from among yourselves. The difficulties have come to you are very distressing to him. He is full of concern for you and extremely forgiving and merciful for the believers. (Al-Taubah 9:128)
Allah describes him with His Own Attributes of Rauf (Most Kind) and Rahim (Merciful). His mercy sheltered all the humanity: men, women and children, orphans, widows, the sick, the poor, the weak, the old, the slave and even for his enemies.

Once Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
"I served the Prophet at home and on journeys. By Allah, he never said to me for anything which I did: Why have you done this like this? Or for anything which I did not do: Why have you not done this like this? "(Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet said,
“(It happens that) I start the prayer intending to prolong it, but on hearing the cries of a child, I shorten the prayer because I know that the cries of the child will incite its mother’s passions.” (Al-Bukhari)

 Muhammad (SAWW) was merciful not only to mankind but he was merciful and kind to all creatures including animals and birds. That’s why our Prophet(SAWW) was called Rehmatulil Aalmeen. He used to forbid his companions from hurting animals, tiring them, overburdening them with heavy loads for long periods, torturing them, or pushing them beyond their limits, for that is a form of suffering.
10: Allah’s warning:
Allah warns us not to go against the Prophet (SAWW), and states that whoever disobeys him will be doomed to eternal Hell. Failing to obey Allah and His Prophet(SAWW) invites the wrath of Allah as Allah says in the Qur'an;
· As for those who disobey Allah and His Messenger and overstep His limits, We will admit them into a Fire, remaining in it timelessly, forever. They will have a humiliating punishment. (an-Nisa`4:14)
Failing to obey Prophet(SAWW) may lead a Muslim into a fitnah (of Shirk, Nafaq, trial, affliction or misery). Allah says;
· “Do not make the calling of the Messenger (Muhammad) among yourselves as your calling to each other. Allah certainly knows those of you who (secretly) slip away (without the permission to leave, from the Messenger). And those who oppose the Messenger’s (Muhammad’s) commandment (i.e. his Sunnah legal ways, orders, acts of worship, statements) should be aware, that some calamity or grievous punishment will afflict them.
(Surah al-Noor 24:63)
Can we still not understand why do we have to prefer the Love of Allah and His Beloved Prophet over everything else, after reading the following Aayah of Surah Taubah?
· Say: If your fathers, and your sons, and your brothers, and your wives, and your kinsfolk, and the wealth you have acquired, and merchandise for which you fear that there will be no sale, and dwellings you desire are dearer to you than Allah and His (Prophetic) Messenger and striving in His way: then wait till Allah brings His command to pass, and Allah does not guide the wrongdoing folk.
 (al-Taubah 9:24)
 Following verse makes it crystal clear that the Prophet`s (SAWW) Sunnah is an absolute and immaculate source of commands:
· When Allah and His Messenger have decided something, no believing man or woman has a choice about [following or not following] it. Anyone who disobeys Allah and His Messenger, is clearly misguided.  (Al-Ahzaab 33:36)
 In the "Surah Al Fath" Allah emphasises the vital importance of submission to His messenger :
· We have sent you bearing witness, bringing good news, and warning so that you might all believe in Allah and His Messenger as well as honour, respect, and glorify Him in the morning and the evening. Those who pledge their allegiance to you pledge allegiance to Allah. Allah`s hand is over their hands. Those who break their pledge only break it against themselves. But as for those who fulfil the contract they have made with Allah, We will give them an immense reward. (al-Fath:48: 8-10)
There are clear warnings in the Quran on opposing the Prophet`s (SAWW) role as rule-maker and disobeying his rules constitute denial.
· But if anyone opposes the Messenger after the guidance has become clear to him and follows a path other than that of the believers, We will hand him over to whatever he has turned to, and We will roast him in Hell. What an evil destination! (Surah an-Nisa 4:115)
11: Prophet Muhammad (SAWW)’s status:
    None of the Prophet or angel can reach the high status and rank of the final Prophet (SAWW). No doubt, this high prestige is not granted to the Prophet Muhammed (SAWW) but as a sign of high respect and love of Allah. Therefore, Allah has mentioned the name of the Prophet (SAWW) with His name in Azan, in the supplication, in Salah (al-Tashahud) and in others forms of worship. Among all messengers and prophets, Prophet Muhammad(SAWW) is on the highest pedestal.
      In the expression of the Holy Quran, he is of a tremendous nature. Allah called prophet(SAWW) "Nur" (Sacred Light), a holy lamp that gives pure light.
· people of the Book! Indeed, Our Messenger has come to you, exposing to you much of that which you used to hide in the Scripture, and overlooking much. Undoubtedly, there has come to your light (Muhammad SAWW) from Allah and a clear Scripture. (Surah Al-Maa’idah 5:15)
Allah Himself praises prophet Muhammad(SAWW) in a very beautiful manner;
· And certainly, for you, there is an endless reward. Verily, you are upon an exalted (flawless and magnificent) character. (Al-Qalam 68:3)
· Surely, We have given you abundance. (Al-Kowthar 108:1)
Allah calls him honourable and Nobel in the glorified Quran;
· Undoubtedly, this Quran is a word brought by an honoured Messenger. (Al-Haaqqa 69:40)
Allah has elevated his mention (the esteem with which people will hold him);
· And exalted for you your Zikr (remembrance). (Al-Inshiraah 94:4)
 The exalted status of Prophet (SAWW), requires so much respect and honour from the bottom of our hearts, as Allah says;
· “Verily, We have sent you (O Muhammad) as a witness, as a bearer of glad tidings, and as a warner. In order that you (O mankind) may believe in Allaah and His Messenger, and that you assist and honour him, and (that you) glorify (Allaah’s) praises morning and afternoon”
[al-Fateh 48:8-9]
· Prophet! Indeed, We have sent you as a beholder (witness) and a bearer of glad tidings and a warner. And as a summoner to Allah by His permission, and as an illuminating light. And give glad tidings to the believers that they will have great bounty from Allah. (Al-Aehzaab 33: 45-47)
He is a special favour of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala:
· Certainly, Allah has shown a special favour to the believers by raising among them a (Prophetic) Messenger from among themselves who recites to them His revelations, and purifies them, and teaches them the Scripture and the Wisdom, although before (he came to them) they were in manifest error. (Aal-Imraan 3:164)
He is Allah's special blessing:
· He is (the One) Who has raised among the unlettered (Prophetic) Messenger from among themselves who recites to them His revelations and purifies them, and teaches them the Scripture and the Wisdom, although, before that, they were indeed in manifest error. (Al-Jumu’ah 62:2)
Reality is, we can’t figure out Prophet (SAWW) actual status, Allah chose him as His close friend (Khaleel). Imagine if someone is Allah’s close friends, how high his status is?
12: To Understand Quran:
Love of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) invites us to gain knowledge about his Seerah and his Seerah helps us to understand the Qur’an and understanding the Quran brings us closer to Allah. The Qur’an is a very deep and profound book and it cannot be understood without context. Without context, we cannot gain the actual knowledge and without gaining the actual knowledge we can't appreciate the Divine Book. We can not understand many verses until we study the Seerah, the life of the Prophet (SAWW), because Seerah gives us the knowledge about the revelation of many verses (i.e. time, place and reason of the revelation).
    So Sunnah is regarded as the interpretation of Quran. The reason is the Prophet (SAWW) not only conveyed the message he received from Allah (SWT) to humanity, but he also explained it, not only verbally, but he, himself acted upon Allah's orders eagerly, he actually implemented all those commands in his own life first.
Qatadah reported: I said to Hazrat Aysha, “O mother of the believers, tell me about the character of the Messenger of Allah, (SAWW).” Aisha said, “Have you not read the Quran?” I said, “O course!” Aisha said, “Verily, the character of the Prophet of Allah was the Quran.”
Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 746
Prophet(SAWW) is the best example, which we can follow in regards to the Quran. In the Nobel Book Allah (SWT) reveals:
· You have an excellent model in the Messenger of Allah, for the one who fears Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah abundantly. (al-Ahzab 33: 21)
 Prophet(SAWW)'s life was the best example for believers. We look at his Sunnah and learn how to implement the commands of the Quran and practices in our own lives. Indeed, the Prophet`s (SAWW) entire life reveals a seriousness, responsibility, and sensitivity of which not even the slightest detail is neglected. Our Prophet (SAWW) purified his believers (from all falsehood, spiritual diseases and wrongdoings) and taught them "wisdom,"(Hikmah) alongside the Quran:
· Allah showed great kindness to the believers when He sent a Messenger to them from among themselves to recite His Aayahs to them, purify them and teach them the Book and Wisdom, even though before that they were clearly misguided. (Surah Al `Imran 3: 164)
 People who have abandoned the Sunnah, in fact, ignore the Quran`s commandments.  From above discussion it has become clear that,
   "Sunnah is an explanation of the Quranic code of life and more importantly, the Quran orders believers to follow it".
    Allah (SWT) has not only made obeying the Quran obligatory but also obeying the Prophet (SAWW).
13: He guided us to the right path:
We must have gone astray without Rasool Allah (SAWW)'s guidance. We would not have understood the complete meaning of Islam and the Quran without his teachings, and we would be astray in the desert of ignorance. Allah mentioned this in the Quran,
 “And verily, you O Muhammad (SAWW) is indeed guiding (mankind) to the Straight Path. (Ash-Shuraa 42:52)”
It is Allah’s mercy upon us that He Almighty gave us The Holy Book for guidance through His Prophet(SAWW) who guided us and helped us unto the right path, "The path of Ultimate success".
 In the Quran Allah says,
 “He will guide them and improve their state.” (Al-Muhammad 47:5)
There is a Hadith for those who don’t follow the sunnah,
"If you abandon the sunnah of your Prophet, you will go astray." (Sunan Ibn Majah 777)
14: For the success in this world and Aakhirah:
   If we wish to get higher ranks in Jannah(heaven), we must love Rasool Allah(SAWW), because it is Allah's promise that, those who obey Allah(SWT) and His Messenger(SAWW) will be in the company of prophets, devotees, martyrs, and the ones that Allah(SWT) bestowed His blessings and gifts in Aakhirah. Allah has mentioned His promised in these words:
  • Those who obey Allah and the Rasool(SAWW) will be with those Ambiyaa(Prophets), Siddeeqeen(truthful ), Shuhada( who bear witness or martyrs) and Salheen(righteous ones) on whom Allah has bestowed His bounties. These are indeed the best of companions. (Surah Al Nisa, 4-69)
· These are the limits set by Allah, and whoever obeys Allah and His Rasool (SAWW), He will make him enter Gardens (in Paradise) underneath which rivers flow, where they shall live forever. That is the supreme success. (Al-Nisa 4:13)

 Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: The reason why it is obligatory to love the Prophet (SAWW) and venerate him more than any other person is that we cannot attain the greatest good in this world or in the Hereafter except at the hands of the Prophet (SAWW), by believing in him and following him. That is because no one can be saved from the punishment of Allaah, and the mercy of Allaah cannot reach him except by means of the Prophet, by believing in him, loving him, being loyal to him and following him. This is how Allaah will save him from punishment in this world and in the Hereafter. This is how he will attain what is good in this world and in the Hereafter. … Majmoo’ al-Fataawa, 27/246.
The reward of believing and loving in Prophet(SAWW) is immense. It will give you the Noor(light) which is essential to cross bridge Sirat, not only this but you will also get Allah’s forgiveness. Allah(SWT) mentions this promise in the Quran:
· you who believe! fear Allah and believe in His Rasool, He will give you two shares of His mercy and will create a light for you to walk in (to guide you in this world and on bridge Sirat), and will forgive you, and Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Al-Hadeed 57:28)
·  The successful ones are those who obey Allah and His (Prophetic) Messenger, who fears Allah, and do not disobey Him. (Al-Noor 24:52)
· You who believe! Obey Allah and obey the (Prophetic) Messenger and those in authority from amongst you, then if you have a dispute concerning any matter, refer it to Allah and the (Prophetic) Messenger if you believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is better and very good in……Those who believe in him, honour and help him, and follow the Light that has been sent down with him are successful. (Al-Nisa 4:59)
Prophet (SAWW) said: “All of my ummah will enter Paradise except those who refuse.” They said: “O Messenger of Allaah, who would refuse?” He said: “Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise and whoever disobeys me is the one who refuses.”
(Al-Bukhaari, 7280).
 Prophet(SAWW) will be the owner of the “position of praise and glory (Maqaam al-mahmood)” on the Day of Resurrection. Allaah says:
· “And in some parts of the night (also) offer the Salaah (prayer) with it (i.e. recite the Qur’aan in the prayer) as an additional prayer (Tahajjud optional prayer Nawaafil) for you (O Muhammad). It may be that your Lord will raise you to Maqaam Mahmood (a station of praise and glory, i.e., the honour of intercession on the Day of Resurrection)”.(al-Israa’ 17:78)
Narrated Hadrat Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him): On the Day of Resurrection the people will fall on their knees and every nation will follow their prophet and they will say, "O so-and-so! Intercede (for us with Allah), "till (the right) intercession is given to Prophet Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) and that will be the day when Allah will raise him to a station of praise and glory (i.e. Al-Maqam -al-Mahmud). (Bukhari)
It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “I will be the leader of mankind of the Day of Resurrection, the first whose grave will be opened, the first to intercede and the first to be asked to intercede.”
(Narrated by Muslim, 2278)
"I will be the chief of all the people on the Day of Resurrection. Do you know the reason for it? " And then Allah will guide me to such praises and glorification to Him as He has never guided anybody else before me. Then it will be said, 'O Muhammad raise your head. Ask, and it will be granted. Intercede and it (your intercession) will be accepted.'"(Al-Bukhari).

Do you want to be with Prophet Muhammad(SAWW) when you will be resurrected on the day of Qiyammah?
Anas bin Malik (R.A) reported:
A Bedouin came to Messenger (PBUH) of Allah and said to him, “When will be the Hour (i.e., the Day of Resurrection)?” He (the Prophet SAWW) said, “What preparation have you made for it?” He said, “Only the love of Allah and His Messenger (SAWW).” Then Messenger (SAWW) of Allah said, “You will be with those whom you love.” (Bukhari and Muslim)
14: For the questions in Grave
One of the main questions of the grave will be about the Prophet (SAWW).
“What do you know of this man (prophet Muhamad(SAWW)?” The believer will reply, “Muḥammad(SAWW), Allāh’s Messenger, he came to us with guidance and clear proofs. We answered him, believed in him and followed him.”
(Bukhārī #86-7087 and Muslim #905 from Asmāʾ bint Abī Bakr)
If we were so busy in our worldly lives and couldn’t get time to love our Prophet (SAWW) and follow him or never learned about his life, we will not be able to answer the questions of the grave.
15: Prophet (SAWW)’ love for us:
Last but not least, Prophet (SAWW) loved us more than anyone else can love us. His sincere and selfless heart was filled with true love for us( who believe in him yet have not seen him). There is no greater feeling than that we were loved by a Nobel prophet. Our Prophet(SAWW), was the blessed one, he who could have lived his life at his will, without any struggle, effort, pain or hardship, yet he chose not to, yet chose to go through all the trouble and hardship for believers, for us. He (SAWW) used to stay awake all night with swollen feet, crying and praying for us, just for his Ummah.. yes, just for the sake that on the day of judgment we shall be forgiven. Whenever he asked something from ALLAH, he(SAWW) asked of mercy for his people.
· “The Prophet is closer to the believers than their own selves”
(al-Ahzaab 33:6)
· There has come to you a messenger from amongst you, he finds it difficult to bear your hardships. He is ever eager for you and to the believers, he is kind and merciful.
 (Al-Taubaah 9:128)
His love was not superficial, it was genuine love. If he would not love us, he would never have sacrificed for us. He loved us and cared for us more than our loved ones. How beautiful this feeling is this...?
We should realize that he suffered all trials and difficulties to bring Allah’s message to us. We should remember that the Messenger (SAWW) was persecuted, hit, tortured, slandered and insulted; the closest people to him disowned him and accused him of being a madman, a liar and a sorcerer. He fought the people to protect the religion so that it could reach us; they fought him, expelled him from his people and homeland, and gathered armies against him.

"The Prophet (SAWW) referred to the former when he said: “The likeness of me and you is that of a man who lit a fire and grasshoppers and moths started falling into it, and he tried to push them away. I am seizing your waistbands and trying to pull you away from the Fire, but you are trying to get away from me.”
(Muslim, 2285,  al-Bukhaari, 3427).
This beautiful hadeeth is explaining that the Prophet (SAWW) is likened the way in which the ignorant and disobedient rush to fall into the hellfire by means of their sins and desires, even though Rasool Allah(SAWW) is trying hard to prevent them from doing so to the way in which moths and other insects are fatally attracted to the fire. They are keen to destroy themselves into the Fire because of their ignorance of the consequences.
I will finish this topic with a beautiful hadith which provides us with another proof of Rasool Allah(SAWW)' love:
 Once the Prophet (SAWW) said; "Allah has given one Dua to every single prophet. I have kept mine saved for my Ummah and I will use it for them on the day of judgement. And my Dua will be, O Allah, forgive my entire Ummah".
(Sahih Muslim 199)
